The New Patriotism
May 9, 2008
The cornerstone of the New Patriotism (NP) is the belief that America is a brutal and rapacious hegemony that is responsible for all the ills in the world.
From Katrina to Darfur--those who practice this NP (liberals and their dogged disciples) believe it is their devout duty to openly condemn their own country. They have forsaken flag-waving for strident rebuke and glaring cynicism of all things American.
And make no mistake: Barrack Hussein Obama, Bill Ayers and Jeremiah Wright are at the vanguard of this NP.

(The Editor is off today - This is Audrey's Blog) As Long As We Tolerate, Terror Will Proliferate
May 8, 2008
There is no question that our government's persistent interference in the Middle East conflict has been emboldening terrorists...
Our (US) sole coercion has been upon Israel. Turning a complete blind eye to the daily rocket bombardment by Hamas upon innocent Israeli citizens has been of no concern or consequence to the Bush administration. Residents of Sderot live in fear and are now faced with privation due to the unrelenting attacks upon their homes and lives.
But does this dissuade Sec. Rice and the pro-Arab State Dept. from their mission? Nah. They easily ignore terror attacks by Hamas because it might interfere with their desire to please the Arab street (not to mention the fruition Bush's desired legacy).
When we (US) ignore terrorists and pressure the victims to negotiate with the very terrorists committing the acts, everyone loses. Because there's nothing Muslims respect less than weakness...and if you're a party to that perception...you lose.
A word to the wise (or those who desire to be): As long as we tolerate, terror will proliferate.

May 7, 2008
Bill Ayers stomping on the American Flag
Obama had a relationship with Bill Ayers in recent past Hyde Park politics. His campaign is reticent to expand on this relationship. But any connection with an unrepentant terrorist is disturbing.
Obama has had a 20 year relationship with one vitriolic, anti-American racist (Wright)...and adding the miscreant Bill Ayers to this huddle can only cause intelligent Americans to question the content of Obama's character...by the company he keeps.

We Have No Friends
May 6, 2008
Gee,
what a surprise! According to the Yemeni government, the six men convicted of
the strike against the USS Cole have escaped from prison or been set free. It
is for this very reason that most Americans are incredulous of our so-called
Muslim allies. Yemen
(a purported ally in the War on Terror) has chillingly demonstrated that it
rather identify with its Muslims brothers (in this case the assassins of 17
US sailors) than administer justice. This,
once again— palpably indicates that within the international Muslim
community: We have no friends.

(The Editor is off today - This is Audrey's Blog) No Legacy Is Worth That
May 5, 2008
I guess the daily destruction, injuries and deaths are just not enough to keep the President from sending his political forces, in the person of Sec. Rice, back again to twist Israel's arm just a little further until they scream "Uncle."
What an appalling way to gain a legacy.
Sec. Rice met again with Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak to insist upon the removal of more Israeli checkpoints in Judea and Samaria, you know...the areas meant to hinder the movement of terrorists that have murdered thousands of Israelis.
So let me see, that would be like citizens pressuring law enforcement to remove any speeding and DUI checkpoints, you know...points established to protect innocent civilians from dangerous behavior.
Oh, come on...
When is this lunacy going to cease? The President needs to take a pause here. I don't believe he's considering all the consequences. Pres. Bush is a compassionate man. I don't believe he really wants the blood of one innocent Israel on his hands...and that's exactly what he will have if he continues this legacy campaign upon Israel.
Joel 3:2 states, “I will enter into judgment with them [all the nations who]…have divided up My Land.”
There are consequences for dividing G-d's land...and none of them are good. Widespread destruction and devastation again upon the Jews. Hatred will be cultivated in the Muslim and other anti-Semitic segments globally. And innocent Jewish lives will be destroyed.
No legacy is worth that.
Shalom.

(The Editor is off today - This is Audrey's Blog) Rep. Sue "Moxie" Myrick: As Patriotic As They Come
May 2, 2008
Sadly, almost 7 years following the most devastating terror attack on our sod, there are few in congress who care enough about the safety of our precious citizenry to do what one from the "Tar Heel State" is willing to do...
This month, Rep. Sue Myrick (R-NC) released a 10 point list she hopes will reveal how radical elements of Islam might be infiltrating the military, schools and other segments of American society.
Among her sagacious suggestions is one point that should be a no-brainer:
7.
Will attempt to cancel scholarship student visa program with Saudi
Arabia until they reform their textbooks. (Saudi textbooks preach hatred
and violence against non-Muslims.)
Bet you didn't know that our government never halted the scholarship student visa program with Saudi Arabia, despite the fact that 15 of the 19 9/11 hijackers were...you guessed it: Saudis!
I think it's time for a conga line...and every representative needs to get in line behind Rep. Myrick. Because Congress needs to remember that we're watching them and they need to 'dance with the one who brung ya'...and the dance begins again this November.

(The Editor is off today - This is Audrey's Blog) One 'Burning Man'? Hamas Has 200,000 Of Them
May 1, 2008
Black Rock Nevada may have its pagan 'Burning Man' every year, but the terrorist group Hamas promises it has 200,000 religious burning men ready to destroy Israel for Allah...
That's Hamas' threat if Israel rejects the Egyptian initiative for a truce with the 'Palestinians '. "If Israel says no, it will pay a heavy price," said Mahmoud Zahar, a senior Hamas official in the Gaza Strip. "We are a besieged people and we will have to use all our tools to defend ourselves against Israel."
So we have the US government on one side pressuring Israel to surrender and comply with the PA's demands via Egypt...and part of the PA government (Hamas) on the other side promising to send a few hundred thousand suicide bombers to force Israel to accept a hudna (temporary truce).
Sounds equitable to me.
Instead of holding the fuse for this group of flaming fiends, it would serve our country better to extinguish this conflagration before it comes back to singe us in the 'you know what'.
Shalom.

Antipathy For Reality
April 30, 2008
Global Warming zealots have a great antipathy for reality. And the reality is that between the years 1945 to 1975 (when carbon emissions were at their apex in America)--temperatures actually dropped.
This inconvenient nugget of truth is obviously too hostile for the zealots and their bombastic, hyper-pedantic, guru Al Gore to handle.
Perhaps that is why Gore vigorously refuses to debate the issue with competent scientists who disagree with his cataclysmic (we're all going to melt) scenario.
Global Warming zealots: Antipathy for reality.

Jeremiah Wright: Saboteur
April 29, 2008
Is it possible that Jeremiah Wright (by going public) is attempting to sabotage Barack Hussein Obama's candidacy?
Consider this: It is racial demagogues like Wright, Jackson and Sharpton who have made millions (as grievance-mongers) telling young black men that "whitey" keeps them down. So, by Obama ultimately achieving the pinnacle of American success (President of the United States)--their grievance-based industry will no longer be valid.
Jeremiah Wright: Saboteur.

(The Editor is off today - This is Audrey's Blog) Reacting To The Reactor
April 28, 2008
Last week, Director General of the IAEA, Mohamed ElBaradei, decided to play a mother figure with the US and Israel by scolding both for their part in the stealth bombing of the N. Korean-built Syrian nuclear reactor seven months ago.
I guess it hurts to be left out of the loop...wah, wah wah...
ElBaradei reproached the US for not giving his organization intelligence information sooner than April 24th when the White House broke its silence on the issue. And chastised Israel for bombing the nuclear site (I guess without their permission).
Gosh, if countries begin to take responsibility for their actions and exercise sovereignty, there won't be any reason the the IAEA to exist!
Oh joy, oh bliss!
So these self-important clowns would have rather announced to the world (and the Syrians) that they were going to investigate the intel about the existence of a reactor and then they would do what, if they found it? Scolded them? Ask if the reactor would be used for energy? Or scare them into doing what Iran is doing...continuing to build nuclear weapons?
What the US and Israel accomplished with the Syrian nuclear reactor incident (and the intel) was correct. Waiting for those who are not exactly your fans (UN) to act on your behalf is not wise. And all free people should be grateful for their courage.
So, rather than scold the heroes, perhaps ElBaradei should be warning Ahmadinejad, "Watch out, you're next!"
Shalom!

(The Editor is off today - This is Audrey's Blog) Acknowledging The Brethren
April 25, 2008
A 2 1/2 year battle ended April 16th when the Israeli Supreme Court ruled that Messianic Jews have the same rights regarding automatic citizenship as Jews who do not believe in Jesus as the Messiah.
Mazel Tov, brethren!
The ruling stated that Messianics should receive the same treatment under the Israeli law of return, which declares that anyone who is born Jewish can immigrate from anywhere in the world to Israel and be granted citizenship automatically.
There has been, for years, discrimination toward Jews who came to believe in Jesus as Messiah and, according to Prof. Jim Sibley of Criswell College in Dallas (a former missionary to Israel), Jewish believers had been barred from the law of return by earlier court rulings, in particular a ruling in the 1980s declaring that if a Jew believed in Jesus as the Messiah, he was not to be considered Jewish.
Traditional Jews should not fear Messianic believers. Why? Because Jewish believers in Jesus affirm their Jewishness, and are indeed adamant about it.
Speaking as a Messianic believer myself, it's a great day in Israel. For Jews who accepted the Jewish Messiah...are finally accepted themselves!
Shalom!

Clearly Disquieting
April 24, 2008
It is clearly disquieting that the two Democrat presidential contenders refuse to acknowledge (in the face of irrefutable and certain evidence) that America is winning in Iraq.
In fact, this is a first in presidential politics.
Perhaps it confirms our most deep-seated fears that both candidates [elitists] not only have a profound disdain for the US military, but also are nothing more than self-hating Americans.
Clearly disquieting.

Cast Aside The Usual
April 23, 2008
In response to the most recent spike in violence in the New York City public schools, the teachers union has issued its usual rejoinder: What we need is added "comprehensive, system-wide solutions." In union parlance, this simply means more money.
Truth be told, the increased violence can't be assuaged by arbitrarily throwing money at it.
Why? Because the root of the problem is directly linked to the deterioration of the inner-city family. With over 75% of inner-city children born out-of-wedlock (a statistical recipe for poverty and violence) the situation is growing more intractable by the minute.
The union must wax honest: The violence will never be reduced with (yet) another injection of tax dollars--but, instead-- with an injection of morality.
It's time to cast aside the usual.

Fatal Fuel
April 22, 2008
Don't be deceived, Darwinian Evolution fuels our most nihilistic and savage act (abortion).
The pregnant female (the strongest) decides to eliminate the weakest (her unborn child) in order to carry on. (This deed is repeated over 1 million times annually.)
Charles Darwin said: "In the struggle for survival, the fittest win out at the expense of their rivals."
Sadly, since 1973--the "fittest" have "won out" [murdered] 50 million of their "rivals."
Darwinian Evolution: Fatal fuel.
